Left-handed tools, from Japan.

Based in Gifu, Japan. Left-handed tools we've gathered from makers we trust — mostly Japanese — and a few of our own.

Japanese Knives, Made for the Left Hand.

Most Japanese knives are built around the right hand —
even the ones called "double-bevel."
We carry left-handed kitchen and bread knives
from makers we've worked with for years in Seki,
the city that's been making blades for over 800 years.

Made in Seki

Just over the hill from us, the city of Seki has been making blades for over 800 years. Most of our knives, kitchen scissors, and bread knives come from makers there — Suncraft, Mitsuboshi Cutlery, and others we've worked with for years.

Built left-handed, not flipped

Every tool here is made for left-handed use from the start — not a right-handed product turned around.

Curated and made in Japan

Most of what we sell is gathered from Japanese makers we trust. A few things, we've made ourselves.
